The GREMSPI focuses on the study and development of measures that reflect the impact of the different dimensions (care, management, research, teaching and health policies) of the quality of nursing practice. Its purpose is to improve the quality of nursing practice and the results obtained by identifying, creating and implementing specific and sensitive measures. The group is coordinated by a nurse specialist in family and community nursing, researcher at IDIAP Jordi Gol, with extensive experience in the study and development of measures. The group is interinstitutional (six institutions) and is made up of nurses with different profiles that include various areas and disciplines (specialties) of nursing practice. This diversification favours a more complete and effective approach in the research and application of results.
The main research objectives of the group are:
1. Identify, define and validate structure, process and outcome measures that reflect the impact of nursing practice.
2. Identify, analyse or develop strategies and tools to integrate these measures into daily practice.
Different members of GREMSPI lead and actively collaborate with other research groups and with organizations and institutions of the higher education system and the health system.
